I live in Alaska and take photographs while I adventure around Southeast Alaska with my parents on our boat. I am passionate about advocating for myself and others with disabilities. I am an athlete and spokesperson for Special Olympics Alaska, I participate in ORCA with Southeast Alaska Independent Living (SAIL), am a member of Alaska Peer Power, an advocate for the Alaska Key Campaign and Alaska Folk Festival Member.
I have been taking pictures since I was a young child and have always wanted to be a photographer because I love to take photos, especially of Alaska scenery. Taking photos has always been easier for me than other forms of art because of my disabilities. Photography is a fun way for me to make art.
I like to use my photographs to make calendars, prints, and note cards so others can enjoy seeing where I have traveled to or for them to remember their travels to those special places .
